David Eugene Edwards leads his Denver, Colorado based band Wovenhand back to Europe this September to playing 29 cities in 12 countries and once again enchant audiences with their very own brand of Rock and Roll. The band has been playing a diverse amount of International rock festivals including Hellfest (FR), Azkena Rock Festival (ES), Roadburn Festival (NL), Psycho Festival (US). In addition to their own headline touring the band has also toured with Russian Circles, Chelsea Wolfe and Tool.
14 years after the band showed its first sign of life with their self-titled debut, David Eugene Edwards (who's prolific work in both Wovenhand and the legendary 16 Horsepower has influenced a generation of musicians) announces the release of his 9th album which will be a joint release and collaboration between Sargent House, the bands US based management company and label and Glitterhouse Records who will continue handling Wovenhand’s releases in Europe. Due at the end of Summer 2016 entitled “Star Treatment”. The follow-up to the critically acclaimed “Refractory Obdurate” released two years ago almost to the day.
